Installation & Removal Instructions

Installation:

1. Ensure the shaft, bushing cone, and hub bore are clean and free of lubricants or anti-seize compounds.
2. Insert the bushing into the matching hub or sprocket.
3. Align cap screws loosely into the pull-up holes to allow a slip fit onto the shaft.
4. Position the unit on the shaft using the keyway, then incrementally tighten cap screws in a cross pattern to 192 lbs-in torque. Maintain a slight gap between the flange and hub.

Removal:

1. Loosen and completely remove all cap screws.
2. Insert cap screws into the threaded removal holes on the flange.
3. Tighten the screws evenly in sequence until the bushing releases its grip on the tapered shaft.
