The worm transmission of the worm gearbox is simply spiral transmission, which is multi-tooth meshing transmission, so the transmission is stable, the noise is relatively small, and it can self-lock. When the lead angle of the worm is less than the equivalent between the meshing teeth, and there is a conflict, the arrangement also has a self-locking ability, which can complete the reverse self-locking, and can only drive the worm gear through the worm, not through the worm gear. Just like the self-locking worm arrangement used in heavy machinery, its reverse self-locking ability can complete the effectiveness of maintenance.
