Steel Sprockets for Drive & Conveyor Chains
We precision-engineer and manufacture heavy-duty steel sprockets specifically contoured for driving flat-top and sideflexing conveyor chains. Engineered for high wear resistance and optimal mechanical transmission, our sprockets deliver long service life and dependable performance in demanding, dusty, or high-load industrial operations.
All standard steel sprockets are supplied with stock pilot bores, with custom CNC finish bores, keyways, and set screws produced in-house upon request. Available in high-grade Carbon Steel (Standard), 304/316 Stainless Steel, and Engineered Plastics.
1. 40 Steel Sprockets Series
Compatible Chains: 843, 845, and 1843 Series Conveyor Chains
Specifications: Available in Type A (Plate) & Type B (Hub) styles, ranging from 13T to 30T. Features precision-machined tooth profiles for smooth chain engagement.
2. 60 Steel Sprockets Series
Compatible Chains: 863, 963, 1864, 1873, 1874, 3873 Series (including 1874TAB-G Sideflexing Chains)
Specifications: Heavy-duty design in Type A & Type B configurations (13T to 30T). Built for high-torque transmission in conveyor lines.
Custom Sprocket Manufacturing & In-House Machining
In addition to our standard conveyor sprockets, we offer custom sprocket fabrication based on technical drawings or customer samples. Our CNC machining facilities can process heat treatment (induction hardened teeth), specialized surface coatings, and custom bore geometries to meet your exact OEM requirements.
40 Steel Sprockets for Chain 843 845 1843
A sprocket is a rotating mechanical wheel with teeth that engage with roller or conveyor chains to facilitate their movement in various applications and equipment. As the sprocket rotates around a central shaft, the specially designed teeth engage the gaps in the chain to pull it with a secure grip, regardless of whether it is in dirty or oily environments. Although they may resemble gears, sprockets are designed solely to work with drive chains, not other sprockets or gears.

We stock a full line of ANSI single-strand 304-grade stainless steel sprockets, both as A-Plate style and B-Hub style. We keep these on the shelf as standard stock bores. However, we can supply sprockets with finished bores thanks to our fast-reaction in-house industrial machine shop. Typically, we do not use 304-grade stainless steel to manufacture the sprockets , but 316, as well as a few other grades, are available upon request.
