Benefits of Micro Tiller Gearbox
This system is a multispeed design that allows the farmer to change the rotor speed easily. The rotor is supported by waterproof rotor supports and a double-layered deck that keep stone indentations to a minimum.
A tiller transmission works by providing the operator with a different speed to power through different types of terrain. The tiller can travel forward or in reverse depending on the gearbox, which is ideal for hard ground. The highest speed is for transporting the tiller, while the lowest speed is for chopping up hard ground. Different tiller designs use rubber belts and a series of pulleys to provide the proper speed. However, this system is not always as convenient as a conventional transmission, which can sometimes be difficult to maintain.
