X Type drop forged rivetless chain(Bar Loop Chains X Type), also referred as drop forged trolley chain. Designed to flex transversely on shorter radius and assembled and disassembled without the use of tool for easy installation and maintenance. The outer links are consisted of panels to increase strength of sidebars and the special pitch prevents materials from falling off the links. Drop forged rivetless chains are commonly used for overhead conveyors, trolleys, automobile industry, meat processing industry, assembly lines and so on. They can be assembled and applied with related chains products and accessories including trolleys, side-link pushers, drive dog and caterpillar dog chain.

Types of Drop-Forged Chain

There are three types of drop-forged chains:
(1) H-Type drop-forged chain is furnished with heat-treated pins that are symmetrical and may be reversed when one side is worn. Standard drop forged chain can be furnished in carbon steel or high-strength alloy steel materials.
(2) X-Type drop-forged chain is furnished with all chain components heat treated and is designed to have increased flexibility and overall, better performance. X-type drop forged chain can be furnished in carbon steel or high-strength alloy steel materials.
(3) S-Type drop-forged chain manufactured with standard, forged block links and fabricated steel sidebars. This chain offers the advantage of a flat steel sidebar for welding attachments. The pins are a riveted style to keep the sidebars locked in place, eliminating the chance of the chain coming apart when slack is present. This also reduces unnecessary wear between the pins and inner links.

Applications of Drop-Forged Rivetless Chain

Drop forged rivetless chain is a high-strength-to-weight ratio chain that can be quickly and easily assembled and disassembled without the use of tools. The loose link designs help to prevent material from packing into the joints therefore offering some self-cleaning ability. Typical applications include overheard conveyors, twin-strand conveyors, flight conveyors, washing lines and trolley conveyors.
