DSN Backstop Clutch

DSN backstop clutch can effectively prevent material due to gravity retrograde or falling accident happened, and the non-return state, theentire drive is still in the unloading state, will not affect to the motor speed reducer drive repair and replacement parts, to prevent damage of because of the drive system J and appear be retrograde accident on safety protection. Non-return is used in large inclined belt conveyor, bucket elevator, scraper conveyor of non-return protection, other equipment should consult use.

Key Design

Note: The shaft bore must not use sliding grooves or wedge keys. These connections will deform the inner ring under load.

The shaft bore mainly uses a flat key connection. There must be a clearance between the inner ring and the key plane. The keyway and its tolerance must follow the rules in Table. The flat key must follow the GB/T 1095-1979 standard. However, our technical department can produce the key according to customer requirements after written approval.

Anti-Rotation Stop Design

The anti-rotation stop holds the backstop lever arm. It must have enough shear (pressure) strength. The required shear strength changes with the length of the lever arm. The table and figure below show the minimum shear strength for a standard lever arm.

When you use pin holes, the holes on the stop must be slotted. The slot direction must match the installation angle of the lever arm. This prevents radial force on the outer ring of the backstop. When the backstop locks, the pin takes no force. It only prevents rotation during normal operation.
